Even if our basecamp in the mountains is fully booked for the Discovery Days, you and your family can still spend time outdoors and bring our activity ideas to life. That exact same weekend, the namuk Outdoor Challenge – Discovery Days Edition will be taking place.

Do you remember our Outdoor Challenge 2025? Last summer, the goal was to spend more than 1.5 hours outside every day. This year, we want to spend as much time as possible in one go under the open sky over a single weekend. Whether it's for a few hours in the woods, a day trip, or the entire weekend with a night under the stars.

Mark the date in your calendar, pick your outdoor activities, and head out into nature on the weekend of August 28th to 30th. For some fresh inspiration, we’ve put together a collection of outdoor ideas for you. From building your own fairy hut in the woods to a family-friendly via ferrata, there’s something for every explorer.

Because we want to enjoy nature with all our senses, we’re taking a smartphone break together this weekend. Just pack your phone at the very bottom of your backpack, switch it to airplane mode, or bring an analog disposable or Polaroid camera instead. That way, everyone stays fully focused on the adventure, and the anticipation of seeing the developed pictures later is even bigger.
